December Specials
December is a festive month with lots of fun, parties, finishing up things, buying presents & visiting your family, but it is also a magical season for cocktails. This month, you will find plenty of drinks embracing the season through spices, port wine, hints of smoke & jolly good spirits (pun totally intended)!
Few favourites from yesteryears make there re-appearance: A festive take on "Old Fashioned" - "Southern Twist" using port wine and maple syrup atop of classic Maker's Mark bourbon. We also have "The Grinch" coming back to steal the Xmas along with 3 drinks introduced this year: "Peanut Butter Rum Fashioned" - a delightfully yummy riff on "Old Fashioned", "Nikola Tesla" - a complex concoction based of Teranino, a spiced fortified wine from Croatia mixed with Pelinkovac & brandy, and "Harvest Moon" - a fan favourite pisco drink with chili peppers and sour tang first seen during our Pisco week in 2024.
Now, introducing the newcomers:
- "El Mariachi" - a lighthearted drink based on tequila blanco and green basil & bergamot lemonade for some refreshing start with festive colours.
- "Shiso-ID" - a crazy mix of dill aquavit with sake and shiso liqueur presented in purple colour.
- "Sakura Pink" - brings pink grapefruit gin with pink sakura (cherry blossoms) liqueur balanced with vermouth bianco and some cardamom.
- "The Purple Paradox" - juxtaposes genever oude with casis liqueur and some salted caramel flavours. A sweet delight if ever seen one.
- "Midwinter" - is a twin sister of "Midsommar" just using gentian flower quinquina fortified wine instead of porto branco.
- "Culture Clash" - fresh of a Skellig Irish whiskey activation brings wintery flavours in sweet and sour package.
- "Aka No Shi" - wtaps up Japanese flavour bouquet through use of sakura & shiso with gin and ruby port.
= "Desierto" - introduces you to Texan Desert Door sotol, that is herbal and delicious mixed with Mexican desierto sotol with some lemon & basil smoothie liqueur and sake for balance.
Don't miss out, as ingredients of some of those cocktails are very limited and will run out quickly. ;)
