May Specials
Here we go again! May is here with finally some good weather, lots of public holidays & Berlin is finally getting awake from it's slumber. It is also month of our anniversary, on 21st of May we will celebrate our 5 years since opening our doors for the first time. Hence, this month's menu has an all-star lineup from the bygone specials.
- The absolutely crowd pleasers like a fruity & rummy "Mango Mystique" & an exotic "Pear Pressure".
- We have a bright star with pisco coming back for another hoorah - "Delightful Date" combining Peruvian pisco with date syrup, cranberry juice & pomegranate dust.
- We have a beautifully complex "Bee-Have" in all it's boozy, floral glory with hint of acidity; classy & complex "El Presidente Loco" mixing Jamaican rum & apricot liqueur with euphxoric qualities of Catuma; eerily stunning "Crimson Peak" paying homage to the namesake through blood-coloured ruby port, mezcal, chili & bergamot.
- We also have "Black Forest" coming out of hidden item status to it's glittering forest glory.
- 2 oddly refreshing & herbal, yet very different drinks - "Trixffid" with a unique flavour combination of mace gin, gentian flowers & basil, and "The Substance" based on a uniquely aged & infused Tubi 60 with chamomile, basil, than mixed with Zyankali absinthe & sake to create a unique rejuvenating sour potion!
- A best-seller of every month. it appeared, "Parabol(a)", pays homage to Tool through delicious creamy combination of horchata, blueberry gin & absinthe.
- A twist on the old classic, "100 Year Old Cigar" is also making it's return in all it's smoky, bitter self.
- There is only 1 new drink on this menu, "Reese's Negroni", which originated last month at Suspiria Bar. By combining peanut butter, chocolate, dark fruit together with bitter & herbal notes, we managed to achieve an absolutely mind blowingly delicious concoction.
Anyway, this menu is glorious & truly unforgettable.
