Baijiu is typically made from three ingredients: qu, water, and grain. In China, for example, water is also referred to as the blood, the Qu as the backbone and the grain as the flesh of the alcohol. Our Baiju presented here has its origins on the Yangtze River in the heart of Sichuan Province, in the picturesque port city of Luzhou. Here is China's oldest continuously operating distillery, Luzhou Laojiao. The traditional production techniques have been passed on from master distiller to master distiller for more than 20 generations. Ming River is a traditional Sichuan Baijiu that impresses with its balance and complexity. This exotic spirit is not for everyone, we would say it's an "acquired taste" - a taste you work towards.
